U13s Jaguars Match Report – 3 December 2023

An amazing performance from the Jaguars today against a top quality opponent.

Every single player did their part in a very disciplined and patient masterclass.

Possibly our best performance of the season we once again looked like a team of mates, working so hard for each other and encouraging our brothers in black and amber.

The consistent high level of individual efforts which resulted in a superb team performance was reflected in the votes for player of the day.

2 people found it impossible to pick a player and voted for the whole team.

Managers pick was Aidan. He was having an immense game before he unfortunately had to come off with a head injury. Attacked everything like I had asked.

Olly had a fantastic first half right in front of the fans which earned him a few votes. Played that wingback role perfect.

Martin played the sweeper role to perfection. He was our security blanket and never looked troubled.

Theo changed the game in the second half. His buccaneering runs down the left led to our goals and could easily have produced more.

Joint winners of player of the day were Glyn and Harrison.

Harrison produced the 2 key moments of the game to get us a great win. A trademark 6 yard box goal and a very calm left foot finish.

Glyn covered every blade of mud on the pitch! He made sure he put in a captains performance and his team followed his example. Him, James and Thomas dominated the middle and cramped the Salisbury footballing style.

Well played boys I am a very proud Manager today with every aspect of that performance.
