U13s Jaguars Match Report – 17 December 2023

Our last home game of the year and a solid performance to leave us top of the league heading into 2024!!

With 5 squad members away, this was a good performance against a Winchester side that played very well.

Once again everybody had a good game and made voting hard.

Harrison received votes for his intelligent link up play which saw us move up the pitch and his assist was a real touch of unselfish class.

Rowan was very solid today and made some crucial saves at crucial times. (Also a few for the new camera )

Mally received a few votes and was also the manager’s pick. Did a fantastic job upfront despite not feeling 100%. Was a constant threat in behind and prompted the Winchester manager to comment to me about how dangerous he was.

But with a hat trick and a typically industrious battle in midfield, Glyn took the honour of the last player of the day of 2023.

Today was a real highlight of this season for me. Everywhere on the pitch we saw positivity, encouragement and teamwork. The 2 assists from Mally and Harrison just summed up the self sacrifice for the team.
