U8s Cougars Match Report – 26 November 2023

Despite the miserable weather, it was another great performance from the Cougars against another tough opposition. Cougars took a little time to adjust to the game but once they got going they again played some lovely football. They continue to take on board the training messages and pass the ball about, working as a team rather than individuals.

Battling hard, Cougars fought back into the game. Ben put in a solid defensive showing, ensuring a clean sheet in the second quarter. Another assist for Rafi set up Barney for the first, before lovely play out wide by Daniel saw him find Louie who finished strongly. Brody scored a lovely lobbed goal for the third and Caleb got number four following good work from Barney to win the ball back.

Rafi’s all round fantastic work saw him get parent’s player of the day but really. He was robust, determined and gave it everything.

It was another good team performance which continues to show improvement. Well done Cougars!
