U8 Cougars Match Report – 17th Sept 2023

A late kick-off for the Cougars today but it meant we ducked the rain at Ganger Farm. A thrilling game in which we more than played our part against tough opposition. The game ebbed and flowed with all the players playing their part.

Louie contributed two great finishes, Barney put in a solid defensive display including a slightly fortuitous goal, Rafi with some great link-up play, Brodie’s game included some key clearances, Ryan with an important goal to claw us back into the game, Caleb had a key defensive role at the end, Ben provided two late assists as we poured forward and Daniel ran his heart out, showing great skills and a late goal which drew us level.

A tough fought game throughout and one we will learn from. Very proud of the boys though as we showed resilience and bravery and we continue to learn as a team.
